Tomoho Umeda
The founder of Hynfra and Hynfra Energy Storage. A entrepreneur and strategic advisor, promoter of hydrogen technologies and large-scale renewable energy solutions. He is committed to accelerating market and technological progress towards climate neutrality. Chairman of the Hydrogen Technologies Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Polish association Hydrogen Poland, member of Hydrogen Europe and European Clean Hydrogen Alliance. He is a lecturer at the Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Hydrogen Technologies Management at Collegium Humanum in Poland.

Paweł Jarczewski
Manager in charge of the largest investment and general contracting processes in the energy market, and in the chemical and fertilizer industry. In his career to date, he has served as CEO of leading Polish companies from the chemical sector, including: Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A., Grupa Azoty S.A., and RAFAKO S.A. He was a member of the Board of Directors of KGHM International Ltd. Ranked 32nd on the list of the most influential players in chemical industry complied by ICIS in 2015.

Jacek Wiśniewski
Successful manager focused on achieving excellence in sales, distribution and supply chains. He has notable achievements in European and Asian markets. He specializes in cash flow and working capital optimization, planning quality improvement, and modernization of distribution processes. As a member of several Supervisory Boards, he has extensive experience in corporate governance in various markets.

Marlena Krohn
For two decades in executive leadership of Polish largest capital groups Boryszew & Hutmen Leading director of Nonwoven Division in charge of logistics, equipment, product launch and operations of modern production lines employing 720 staff.

Managing Director
Piotr Czembor
Manager with many years of experience in the energy market and environmental law. An expert on the energy storage market. He successfully coordinated the process of raising financing for both new and existing cogeneration units, and renewable energy sources. At the companies of PGE Group (the biggest Polish utility) served as department director and executive team member responsible for the sale and distribution of electricity and the capacity market. He also worked as a lawyer in the department of regulation and external relations of Électricité de France in Poland. He advised energy companies and investors as a lawyer at Dentons law firm.

Katarzyna CupryÅ›
Katarzyna provides effective advice in the process of applying for EU funds, pointing to the appropriate sources of financing. She builds consortia and project teams, and coordinates projects during their execution. Since 2003, she has been dealing with EU funds and specializing in research and investment projects related to renewable energy. She contributed to the success of several hundred projects that received grants totaling over PLN 380 million (EUR 84 million).

Tomasz Krupa
Head of technical and investment divisions with experience in project management in chemical and energy industries with a total budget exceeding EUR 2 billion. Has more than 20 years of experience in maintenance of chemical plants and power stations.

R&D Director
EngD Cezary Możeński
He is a recognised specialist in the chemical industry and an authority on synthetic ammonia production technology. He has many years of experience in conducting research work. He specialises in designing and modernising technological systems for the production of synthesis gases, hydrogen, methanol and ammonia. He is the creator of many innovative technological solutions sold as licences and implemented in industry at home and abroad. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and patents. As Director of the Development and Investment Division at ZA Pulawy S.A. and Director of the Institute of New Chemical Synthesis, he managed teams involved in the implementation of major investment and development projects. He was a member of the Supervisory Boards of the largest chemical companies in Poland.

Marketing and Communication Director
Magdalena Piekarska
She supports development of the hydrogen industry, promoting the chain of hydrogen technologies and systems in the Polish market. She regularly cooperates with representatives of local authorities, conducting activities that influence the future of renewable energy and give shape to municipalities all over Poland, including the capital city of Warsaw. She has experience organizing the largest national and international conferences for the chemical, construction, industrial, and investment sectors. She is active in the CSR area. She conducted thematic campaigns, appearing in leading media such as: Gazeta Wyborcza, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Rzeczpospolita.

Head of Hiroshima Branch
Hideo Yata
He is responsible for hydrogen business relations between Poland and Japan as part of Hynfra’s Japan Representative Office. He is an expert in renewable energy projects and emissions trading. In Poland, he directed several methane gas reduction projects at several coal mines aimed at reducing greenhouse gases, transferring emissions credits to Japan. This projects also contributed to the modernization of coal mines. He had been developing projects in Poland for two years and is familiar with the Polish and Japanese energy industry. He worked for The Chugoku Electric Power Co., Inc.
